Plus markets, fun runs and youth-led conversations (June 16)
Eight years ago Pieter Toerien produced the original South African hit production of CATS at Artscape in Cape Town and at the State Theatre in Pretoria.
The show sold-out every night and was in high demand. Because of its popularity many people did not get a chance to experience the South African production of the hugely popular musical.
Pieter Toerien is very happy to announce that Cats will be back to grace the magnificent Artscape stage from 29 November 2009. With a new generation of talented South African performers eager to make Cats bigger and better than ever, this year promises to deliver a thrilling show.
If you haven’t met them already, get ready to be introduced to the glamour cats, theatre cats, railway cats, mystery cats, Rum Tum Tugger and the glorious Mr Mistoffelees. These beloved cats are all grooming their fur coats and sharpening their showy claws for this year’s production which promises to be well worth the ticket price.
