In the spirit of Valentine's Day, Backsberg Estate has decided to combine the things we love the most – eating decadent food, drinking good wine, harvesting and grape stomping.
All worth waking up early for – at least once a year.
Come and spend a romantic morning on the beautiful farm. You and your partner can join in with the harvest, have a fantastic Champagne brunch and round it off grape stomping and a cellar tour!
The day’s programme promises to be barrels of fun. It will start at 08:30 with tea, coffee and muffins on arrival – then followed by a hand-picking harvest.
Once you have worked up a healthy appetite, you’ll indulge in a full Champagne brunch, then move on to a cellar tour and grape stomping.
As you can see, there’s a whole morning’s worth of wine indulgence to be had, hope to see you there!
Tickets cost R370 per couple and R200 per single.
