Once you turn off the Sir Lowry’s Pass Village Road and enter the Waterkloof gates, a lane of trees beckon to the hills where a total sensory experience awaits. Soon the road meanders through an amphitheatre, flanked by reclaimed fynbos and immaculately kept vineyards, to the state-of-the-art cellar.
The logo welcomes you to the Waterkloof Wine Tasting Lounge. Stop for a while outside and breathe deeply. Fill your soul with the views over the surrounding Schaapenberg hills and False Bay down below.
Now enter the area that was designed to hold the visitor in awe, while showcasing the sincere, clean essence of Waterkloof’s Old World style wines. Tall glass walls allow the visitor views of both the working cellar and the farm below, while raw concrete columns form the perfect space for exhibited art from well-known South African artists.
