Be crowned Ms. Houtstok at the Houtstok Music Festival in 2010

Do you have what it takes to be Ms. Houtstok? Applications are now open for the very first Ms Houtstok 2010 beauty competition.

The competition will run in conjunction with the much anticipated Houtstok 2010 Music Festival to be held on the Diep Rivier Farm in Malmesbury from Friday 23 April 2010 to Sunday 25 April 2010.

On 16 April 2010 in Cape Town, one lucky winner will be crowned Ms. Houtstok 2010 and win prizes to the value of R50 000. Prizes include a holiday for two in Mozambique to the value of R25 000, an overnight stay for two at a Game Reserve to the value of R4500, a one year fitness contract, a professional photo session to build your portfolio, spa treatments, and much more.

What sets Ms. Houtstok apart from other beauty contests is the fact that unlike the typical beauty competition Ms. Houtstok 2010 will not discriminate against women that are married, separated, engaged or widowed. If you’ve always dreamed of being a model but have never had the opportunity to get your foot in the door, this is your chance to start realising your dreams.

The 12 finalists will be judged by the esteemed Ms. Houtstok Judges panel prior to and at the crowning of Ms. Houtstok 2010. Apart from finding Cape Town’s next beauty queen, Ms. Houtstok 2010 is also dedicated to helping those in need. Part of her responsibility will involve raising funds for Tygerbear Foundation, the official charity of Houtstok. 

All entrants must submit a completed entry form, signed copy of the rules and regulations, copy of your Identity document, R150 entry fee deposit plus proof of payment, a short CV, a 300 word motivation on why you would be a great ambassador for Houtstok and two clear photographs of yourself – 1 full length photo in swimsuit and 1 close-up head and shoulders.

In addition, married applicants must submit a copy of thier marriage certificate.
