Hire a Ferrari F430 Spider in Cape Town

Scream through the Mother City in one of the world’s most seductive convertible supercars

Anyone with even the faintest whiff of petrol in their veins will one day want to drive a Ferrari; the prancing horse has long represented the pinnacle of supercars, and the fanaticism for the brand is on par with religious extremism in some parts of the world.

Unfortunately, some of the cars the Italian company makes are so exclusive, you have to be invited to buy them. However, in the Mother City, you can scream through the streets and burn your scalp clean off thanks to Ferrari day rentals and hires. Even if the need for speed doesn’t stir your loins, driving a Ferrari drips style and status, and there’s no better way to make an impression on the Cape Town social scene than in the driver’s seat of this sublime creation.

About the Ferrari F430 Spider

The F430 Spider is just a generation old now, but is, nonetheless, widely regarded as one of the best Ferraris ever made. Much of that reputation rests with the high performance convertible’s remarkable engine: a highly tuned 4.3 litre V8, it remains one of the most powerful engines of this size ever made. With your right foot, you are essentially in charge of a barely tamed wild animal.

Speaking of which, it sounds like a snarling beast too. A hedonistic mix of screaming and baritone V8 growl, the F430 at full cry is biblical. You won’t have to phone your friends and tell them you’re on your way, they’ll hear you coming.

If you’re worried that the F430 Spider is not as fast as its hard top cousin, you can rest assured that Ferrari have done everything they can to make sure the convertible version is just as quick. The standard 0 – 100km/h sprint time is just 4.1 seconds, and Ferrari says the car will go on to just over 310km/h.

In short, the feeling of tackling the tarmac in the Mother City in a car as rare and exotic is this is almost too hard to describe. Because of the vehicle’s F1 pedigree and its convertible capabilities, conquering Cape Town’s dramatic mountainous scenery via some incredible driving roads is nearly a religious experience.

Whether you are blasting through the famous Cape Winelands, visiting one of Cape Town’s famous beaches or pulling up to a sexy, sun-filled beach bar, the feeling of arriving in a Ferrari F430 is simply unrivalled.
