You wonder about doing a PADI Open Water course in Cape Town but you are not sure if scuba diving is your thing? Why don't you try it for a day with 'Discover Scuba'?
Do you ever wonder how it is and how it feels to be weightless, while shoals of colourful fish are swimming passed you, diving in Cape Town's waters?
Would you love to get a taste of learning to dive in South Africa? Would you like to hear the sound of your breathing under water and how feels being able to breathe under water? But you also wonder if scuba diving is your thing? Well, why don't you try it for the day with Discover Scuba?
One of the best Five Star diving schools in Cape Town that offers trial dives of Discover Scuba packages is Scuba Shack dive centre.
Your day of discovering scuba diving at this Cape Town dive school starts with a short explanation of the basic diving techniques and handlings, such as clearing your mask, and the communication between your and your diving buddy when you are under water.
You will put your basic knowledge into practice immediately during your first dive in the swimming pool of the Scuba Shack Diving centre. Here you will get comfortable with breathing under water, as this is strange and feels completely unnatural to most people.
That same day, in the afternoon, you will go for your second dive with your dive master of the dive school. In the ocean this time, starting from a beach on the False Bay side close to Cape Point. Let the Cape underwater world surprise you and absorb the natural beauty of the ocean floor while your diving instructor keeps a close eye on you.
The best thing about a trial dive is that you are allowed to, up to one year after your diving experience, dive to a depth of 12 meters max. Of course under supervision of a diving instructor.
