50th Anniversary of Helderberg Nature Reserve

The City of Cape Town and the Friends of the Helderberg Nature Reserve are inviting the public to visit the reserve

From 24 - 26 September, the City and the Friends of Helderberg Nature Reserve are also offering an entertaining programme for the entire family, ranging from a Teddy Bears Picnic to a Trail Run, and culminating in an outdoor concert featuring the fabulous Delft Big Band and The Lottery Tickets.

An exhibition of photographs taken since the inauguration of the reserve will be held in the Information Centre from 24 September to 03 October and an exhibition of indigenous flowers will be on display next to the Oak Café.

Friday 24 September – Braai and Heritage Day | Teddy Bear Picnic | Guided Tour of the Reserve

Saturday 25 September - The Helderberg Mountain Challenge | Guided Tour of the Reserve

Sunday 26 September – Guided Bird Walk and Outdoor Concert
