Saturday Psyde Show ft. Bizzare Contact
A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
The City of Cape Town and Western Province Athletics are calling upon participants and spectators for the fourth annual Cape Town Marathon, which will take place on Sunday 26th September, 2010.
An important event on the local and international running calendar, Cape Town Marathon is the only marathon in South Africa to start and finish on city roads. The marathon consists of three different races: a 42km marathon, a 10km run and a 4.2km mini-marathon.
Western Province designed a flat course to encourage participation from all fitness levels; from amateur athletes to top athletes who want to achieve a good finishing time.
The 42km and 10km run starts at 06:30 from Adderley Street and finishes as the City Hall, whilst the 4.2km mini-marathon starts at 08:15 nearby the Sea Point Librar,y and also finishes at the City Hall.
The cut-off time for the marathon is 8 hours for the 42km race and 2 hours for the 10km race, so it can be completed at your own pace. There will be prizes up for grabs, including R15 000 for first place in the marathon.
