Saturday Psyde Show ft. Bizzare Contact
A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
Enjoy snacks or even a picnic on Klapmutskop, and see the full moon rise on the Paarl side over the Hottentots Holland mountains.
The marked Vineyard Trail is 9,75km in total and starts from the Trail Centre on Delvera farm and takes you through a Renosterveld Conservancy and Yellowwood forest to the top of Klapmutskop.
It will take you about one hour to the top from the Trail Centre, so don’t be there later than 17:30 in order for you to make it in time for the sunset.
Optional lifts with bakkies are available to the half way mark, where the single-track hiking trail starts at the Pepper Tree. This will shorten the route to less than 5km in total and it takes about 30 minutes to the top from the Pepper Tree.
After the moonrise, you will probably be back at your car between 19:30 and 20:00, depending on your walking speed.
Bring a torch, warm clothing and hiking shoes.
Snacks (even picnics) and drinks are available at Trail Centre, but you are welcome to bring your own.
You can even stand a chance to win a pair of Hi-Tec hiking shoes in the lucky draw!
Costs include the shuttle and a map: R50p/p | R20p/p for kids under 10
