Saturday Psyde Show ft. Bizzare Contact
A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
For the last few years Pillow Fight Day has been held in numerous cities across the globe. It’s all about reclaiming public spaces as a playground for all to enjoy.
If you're a Capetonian who wants to have some serious fun and contribute to a great cause, listen up!
Everyone has some clothes that are in a great condition, but just won't ever be worn again.
You can make a difference by grabbing an old pillow case, stuffing it full of your fabulous unused apparel and donating it to the Jam-Packed Pillow Case Campaign.
This campaign turns those garments into cash for projects that focus on social and environmental ills around Cape Town.
So where's this really fun part? Well, to coincide with International Pillow Fight Day, we're throwing the biggest pillow fight the city has ever seen.
On 3 April 2010, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront will be ground zero for this groovy event. The rules are simple: bring two pillows – one for the fight and one jam-packed with good clothes.
Meet at 13:30 at the Clock Tower Square in the V&A Waterfront, drop your donation into the collection bin and prepare to swing!
Please note that the donations are not mandatory. If you only want to participate in the event, feel free to just bring a pillow to fight with.
There are just 3 very simple rules for Pillow Fight:
Only Standard Pillows Allowed (No heavy stuff)
Only hit someone that is participating (no pillow, no hitting!)
Have fun and be safe
