Sample the crème de la crème of local wine and cuisine at the V&A Waterfront Wine Affair

Expect a decadent food and wine tasting experience as top Western Cape Wineries and estates showcase their best wines at the V&A Waterfront Wine Affair from 4-7 May. The wine tasting will be accompanied by gourmet delicacies from a variety of award-winning V&A Waterfront Restaurants, making this an outing for the refined gourmand.

“Whether it is sushi, oysters, cheese, charcuterie or perhaps a beef kebab, you will be sure to find the perfect food and wine pairing,” says Jean Dennis, Communications Manager for the V&A Waterfront.

The Waterfront Lookout, on the roof of Breakwater Parking Garage, plays the perfect host. The V&A Waterfront Wine Affair is the only local event of its kind to take place at the water’s edge. Expect breathtaking views of the ocean, Table Mountain and the Cape Town Stadium.

Tickets are R75 for early birds until 25 April and between R90 and R110 thereafter. The price includes a wine and deli tastings as well as a brochure. The festival presents the ideal opportunity to browse and sample gourmet food items and some of the finest wines South Africa has to offer.
