Say ‘Hello Old Friend’ to Alien Safari’s Flying Circus
Start planning your summer trance schedule!
Alien Safari, the creators of Sprung and Masqued Ball, are dusting off an oldie and bringing it back into our lives. That’s right, say hello to Flying Circus! The date has been set as Saturday, 25 November 2017. The party will work a two-day format, meaning that it will come to a sad end on Sunday, 26 November 2017.
For those of you who have never been to an Alien Safari party, you’re missing out… but also rest assured that these guys are the professionals and know everything there is to know about hosting the ultimate trance party. Their events are excellently conceptualised, safe and well run; you couldn’t ask for more from a trance event!
Their usual festivals, Masqued Ball in February and Sprung in September, are the highlight of the season for many ravers. Prepare yourselves for another amazing Alien Safari party, because Flying Circus will not disappoint! If trance parties and festivals generally are a new experience for you, check out our festival checklist to make sure you pack all the essentials to make it an unforgettable weekend.
Details on Flying Circus are thin on the ground at the moment, but we will make sure we keep you in the loop! You can subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date, or stay tuned to this page!

In terms of venue, Alien Safari are keeping their cards very close to their chests. All we know is that the 2017 home of Flying Circus is a ‘new forest venue’, which means we can bank on there being plenty of shade to lounge in to escape the hot November sun. As is always true with trance festivals, parking will be safe and secure (although I wouldn’t leave my cell phone on display, for example –let’s not tempt fate, shall we?). Because Flying Circus is an overnight event, ravers will also need a nice camping area which, based on other Alien Safari events, they will definitely have. Their Masqued Ball venue is sensational, and both their usual venues, Kingdom of Hearts (near Gordon’s Bay) and Silwerstroom Resort (near Melkbosstrand), have real toilets so no porta-potties for you (thank goodness!).

Again, details are thin on the ground. There is no ticket information just yet, but we will update this page as soon as we hear anything! If you have any line-up suggestions, head to their event page on Facebook and leave a comment of who you’d love to see at the newly revived Flying Circus!
If you cannot wait for November, check out our trance party schedule to see how you can get your trance fix before Flying Circus!
