Cape Town Women’s Network Anniversary Lunch
Sit down to a leisurely and inspiring lunch with some of the city’s most dynamic professional women
The Cape Town Women’s Network is celebrating their second anniversary on Sunday, 17 December 2017 and you’re invited to join this special event, taking place at the Welgemeend Estate in the CBD at 1pm.
This networking luncheon is the perfect opportunity for professional women in the city to take a seat at a table with like-minded ladies and enjoy an afternoon of relaxing and embracing the many pearls of wisdom that will be shared on the day.
The theme for this year’s lunch is “game changer” and the special guest speaker is none other than Luvuyo Jongile, who recently launched Khayelitsha’s first gin, Mayine Gin. Also on the lineup is Tumelo Pudumo, founder of TP Picnics, a successful Cape Town company that is popular for family-friendly picnics with awesome line-ups during the festive season. Various other speakers will be sharing their stories and experiences too, but the final lineup is still to be confirmed.
The luncheon will be an interactive one where patrons will be able to ask questions and share their experiences with the other guests and speakers.
The main aim of this movement is to recognise and celebrate the work of the game changers in their respective industries. As well as create an opportunity for everyone to network and bridge the gap between various industries and social circles.
Founded by Yanda Nako and Noxolo Gobodo, the movement is a platform for empowering young women through support and encouragement. A key focus for the organisation is to bring prominent, celebrated and successful professionals to share their insights and experiences with a new generation of women seeking empowerment.
