STAND-UP PADDLE IN BEAUTIFUL LOCATIONS

Try stand-up paddling (SUP), which takes place at the Battery Park or Intaka Island locations. The two-hour SUP sessions run throughout the day starting at 9am, with the last session starting at 4.30pm. Included in your party is a gazebo, table, tablecloth, life jackets and instructors. What would your team pick: Six-course elegant dining with a Cape cuisine focus, afternoon tea, wine and cheese sessions or a Friday Night Steak Club? They’re all available at this boutique hotel. CORPORATE RETREAT IN THE WINELANDS

This retreat practises “radical hospitality” which allows you to pay rates based on what you can afford. All options include a one-night stay (up to 14 people), all meals and snacks included. COOKING CAPE MALAY TOGETHER

Learn how to make Cape Malay cuisine at Faeeza’s Home Kitchen. Faeeza hosts fully-interactive cooking classes for up to 14 people, where you’ll be taught how to roll rotis, fry chilli bites, cook curry and wrap samosas. A typical class lasts 2.5 hours, including the meal, dessert and tea (with vegan and vegetarian options).

COSY MEALS AT A LAIDBACK CAFÉ

If you want to just eat and chill, Cafe Extrablatt is central (by the DHL Stadium roundabout in Green Point) with free parking across the street. BEERS, BURGERS & MUSIC

Here your year-end party is good vibes, beer tastings, burgers and music. And you’ll get to taste nine different craft beers with their tasting tray. SIT OUT IN THE GARDEN

Little Stream Conference Centre and Tea Garden, which sits between Groot and Klein Constantia, has over seven acres of garden to explore. For a team of 20 to 50 people, Little Stream has three options: a casual self-catering braai, a 3-course braai meal or an elevated 3-course meal.

PLAY THE FAMOUS AMAZING RACE

Have a real-life Amazing Race experience at the V&A Waterfront. Teams get different colour bibs as they navigate from checkpoint to checkpoint and compete in a series of mental and physical challenges. You can also add real physical challenges when you play. RIDE SCOOTERS IN THE SCENIC STELLENBOSCH

GO ON A JAZZ SAFARI

BUDGET-FRIENDLY BEACH BRAAI

Oudekraal, between Bakoven and Llandudno, is the only National Park allowing alcohol and music. A gazebo can be booked for private events. It has 35 well-maintained braai facilities that look over the ocean and surrounding mountains. You can snorkel, swim, braai and chill at Oudekraal beach.
