Painting the Town Orange with The Queen’s Day
The ever popular Queens Day is back and it’s time to celebrate Dutch style – go big or go home!
The guys and girls at Rafiki’s are going all out again for the annual Queen’s Day in celebration of the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands on the 30th April.
To see both young and old dressed head to toe in orange is something that you will not want to miss. From the extreme of dyed orange hair to the less brave of a simple orange t-shirt, either way, if it’s orange, it’s there.
We suggest that you get to Rafiki’s early for a reasonably quiet dinner by tucking into their great pizza special - a free Heineken with any pizza - before the masses of orange arrive ready to party up a storm.
What is a Dutch party without jaegermeister-shots, bitterballen, Dutch sing-along’s and of course beer specials on Grolsch, Heineken and Amstel?
The 30th of April is a huge night in Cape Town – you don’t want to wake up and realised you have missed it and will have to wait 365 days until the next one – so be sure to find something orange and head on out to Rafiki’s.
