Where better to enjoy your food than in the heart of the kitchen? This custom designed interactive culinary encounter features exquisite cuisine paired with fine wines. The Mount Nelson Hotel provides an indulgent, beautiful setting for this dining experience with the oak dining table located in an alcove in the hotel kitchen.
Mount Nelson’s Hotel executive chef, Rudi Liebenberg, and his team are on hand to share recipes, anecdotes and the inspiration behind the dishes. Guests can choose to watch the preparation of specific dishes with the oversized mirror providing a view of the kitchen activities.
The Chef’s Table is open for reservations seven days a week for both lunch and dinner catering for a minimum of six people and a maximum of ten. Chef Rudi designs the menu on the day based on what ingredients are fresh and seasonal so each dining experience will be unique. The eight-course dinner can be paired with wines carefully chosen by sommelier Carl Habel.
