Shiza Ikapa Theatre and Dining Experience in Cape Town
See proudly South African performances with this upbeat show that celebrates our pretty city’s cultural diversity
Woza Cape Town! See the antics of some truly entertaining Capetonian characters as you watch various shenanigans unfold at the bustling Martha’s Tonic Tavern when locally produced performance Shiza Ikapa (The Heat of Cape Town) continues at the Theatre at the Rockwell Theatre in Greenpoint until Friday, 31 July 2015.
Kicking off the Rockwell Theatre’s grand debut in mid-April, Shiza Ikapa is a home-grown production from powerhouse performer and director Ramaine Barreiro-Lloyd (who also makes an appearance on stage). Ramaine is joined by actor and performer O’Ryan Winter, from local soapie Backstage fame, and former Idols alumni Tebego Louw.
The show is a wonder to behold with four stages at the actual venue, so audiences can anticipate a totally immersive and interactive experience. The production also comes with a three-course meal, with dishes that are proudly South African (with typical Cape Town flair) ranging from Bo-Kaap inspired flavours to other traditional local fare.
Book a spot for your loved one or take a group of friends for a fun-filled lekker night out.
