Experience Soli Philander’s Cape Town and learn about the weird and wonderful things that make him love his home town. Check out Soli’s latest solo performance, Nice Coat, at The Barnyard in Plettenberg Bay on Saturday, 3 December 2016.
This actor, radio presenter and writer has been part of South Africa’s media world for years, going from television to writing to radio in order to share his voice with the country. Soli Philander has become a household name and is best known for his work as a presenter for Cape Talk and for hosting popular television shows such as Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? and Let’s Fix It.
Soli returns to the stage on Saturday, 3 December 2016 with his latest one-man show titled Nice Coat, which takes the audience on a journey across Cape Town through his eyes. The hilariously witty performance highlights all the quirky characteristics of the Mother City while exploring the city’s favourite hotspots and the unique individuals who frequent them.
Get to the theatre early and start the night with a scrumptious meal from a food stall or build your own platter of snacks at The Barnyard’s wine bar. Picnic baskets are allowed at the venue but alcohol and other beverages are not allowed into the theatre.
