Lately everyone seems to be a bit Star Wars mad with the release of the latest movie, The Force Awakens. Now, there is an out-of-this-world stand-up parody called Star Wors: The Wors Awakens, featuring several local comedians at the Artscape Arena from Tuesday, 23 to Saturday, 27 February 2016. This comedy show retells the entire Star Wars saga, but with hilarious local twists. Catch Darth Maulema, Princess Lamy, Queen Amazille and Luke straight from the Cape Flats as they battle it out for galactic supremacy. Choose which side you support, from the Alien National Council or Extra-terrestrial Freedom Federation to the (democratic) Rebel Alliance, and come cackle at the comical chronicle.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an avid fan or just looking for something that will give you the giggles, this show will appeal to all life forms, from here on Earth to the far, far away galaxies.
