FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 South Africa
The FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 is coming to South Africa as a prelude to the 2010 Soccer World Cup, so get your tickets!
South Africa will be hosting the FIFA 2009 Confederations Cup from 14 June – 28 June 2009.
The Confederations Cup is traditionally a build -up to the World Cup and is hosted by the country that will be staging the World Cup the following year.

The cities hosting games during the 2009 Confederations Cup are also cities that will be hosting games during the Soccer World Cup in 2010. The host cities and their stadiums are:
- Johannesburg (Ellis Park Stadium)
- Pretoria (Loftus Versfeld Stadium)
- Bloemfontein (Free State Stadium)
- Rustenburg (Royal Bafokeng Stadium)
The soccer teams participating in the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 are the national teams of South Africa, Italy, USA, Brazil, Iraq and Egypt.
