Foxcroft Restaurant and Bakery in Constantia
Enjoy sophisticated and elegant fare at this new Cape Town space created by La Colombe’s Scot Kirton and pastry chef Glen Williams
After much anticipation, Foxcroft Restaurant and Bakery – which officially opened its doors on 1 October 2016 – is open for business in the High Constant Centre. Seeking to create a dining experience that is “causal, welcoming and carefully considered”, the new Southern Suburbs eatery (sister restaurant to the much-proclaimed La Colombe) is committed to quality and flavour – not to mention, attention to detail and immaculate plating – and strives to produce world-class dishes each and every time.
And with La Colombe’s Scot Kirton (the country’s top chef) and highly talented pastry chef, Glen Foxcroft Williams (who is behind the restaurant’s name and inspiration) at the helm, we have no doubt that it will.
Working closely alongside the best local farmers and the finest international suppliers, Foxcroft takes pride in selecting each ingredient specifically for its seasonality, high quality and superb flavour and believes in treating simple components with the same care and respect as one would with those of rarity.
Complete with an in-house bakery, bar area and open kitchen, Foxcroft serves breakfast (in the very near future), lunch and dinner.
We Love the look and feel of the modern, yet somewhat laidback, space. Think contemporary-styled leather chairs, wood panelling throughout, an open-plan kitchen and edgy tiling.
