Kelvin Grove Club Luncheon featuring Ina Paarman
Dine with a successful chef and entrepreneur, and get the inside scoop on this family-run company.
This month, Kelvin Grove invites you to lunch. On Thursday, 18 May 2017, you can sit back and savour delectable cuisine while the Ina Paarman (of Ina Paarman’s Kitchen) gives you a taste of what it’s like to start and run a successful food business.
Ina Paarman is a household name in South Africa. Her products have also reached international pantries, making this Cape Town-based business a widely recognised food giant. Its wide recognition is partly owing to the company’s ethos of creating quality food products that make cooking convenient yet taste like they came straight from your own kitchen.
The food-production company officially took off in 1990 when its original chef, founder and namesake, Ina Paarman, was joined by her son Graham who worked on growing and developing the business and its variety of goods and condiments.
Currently Ina Paarman manufactures a variety of kitchen products including seasonings, spices, stocks, bake mixes, icing kits, sauces and salad dressings. They also have a website (Paarman.co.za) with tasty morsels like recipes, videos and menus.
The Kelvin Grove Country Club is a popular choice for holding functions, boasting several stunning and versatile venues that cater to many forms of occasion. The Grill Room (where the event will be hosted) boasts an impressive view of Table Mountain that can be enjoyed while you dine.
