Cape Town’s trendy Infusion on Long gets creative with cannabis
Neon-bright, affordable with outgoing staff
Bustling Long Street in the heart of the Mother City is home to one of its trendiest restaurants, Infusion on Long. It’s been revamped and offers every type of food from breakfast, burgers, and steak to seafood, pasta, tacos, and even fine dining. Expect CBD infused meals, affordable prices, neon-bright decor, and good vibes.

NO, YOU WON’T GET HIGH FROM THE CBD
CBD is known for its calming effects, and can help reduce anxiety and pain. From tapas and starters to mains and desserts, Infusion on Long’s menu boasts a variety of cuisines thanks to the three chefs’ varied tastes: Johnathan Le Roux loves Italian cuisine, Gerswin Jacobs enjoys street food, and Preston Hendricks opts for Asian.

GET WHATEVER YOUR HEART DESIRES
Go early and enjoy breakfast, opt for a toasted cheese sandwich at lunch or a trio of sandwiches, each with a different filling. Kick off dinner with CBD Dark Star Wings, deconstructed tacos, or Smoked Jay Poppers. For mains, there’s burgers ( a brisket option too), steak, ribs, sushi, or pasta (try the Unda Da Sea Pasta). You can also take it up a notch and opt for fine dining and healthy options like Duck ‘n Baked Beets, lamb rump on a cranberry and mint jus, 28 day aged fillet or an Infusion Caesar Salad or poke bowls.

End the night on a sweet note and indulge in decadent desserts like cheesecake with hemp cookie crust, tiramisu, cherry pie, or mousse. The almond chocolate tart is a must-try. Infusion on Long’s menu changes with the seasons, regularly look out for exciting new options

SIP ON COCKTAILS AND TAKE IN THE GOOD VIBES
When you step into this neon-decorated restaurant, you’ll immediately feel the good vibes. There’s a downstairs and upstairs section – and a hookah corner. The Infusion Bar, bursting with bright green colours, is upstairs and serves a variety of cocktails to make your night even more groovy, plus there’s live DJ’s on some nights. There’s also a balcony, perfect for taking in the vibes of Long Street.
