Jamie Oliver's restaurant a new beginning for two Cape Town chefs

Two young Western Cape men have left for an incredible opportunity; to spend a month training at top chef Jamie Oliver's London restaurant, Fifteen.
Mkhanyiseli "MK" Kapa, a former streetchild, and Enoch Zaleni jetted off early July 2005 for their training at the restaurant, which has featured on the hit TV show Jamie's Kitchen and employs chefs from disadvantaged backgrounds from all over the world. These two young talents might just become South Africa's best chefs of the future.
While Kapa, who worked at Madame Zingara in Cape Town, wants to become a world-class pastry chef, Zaleni will focus on the art of wine tasting and the serving of fine wines. In 2002 Zaleni started working in Fairview Estate's cheese factory where his father is one of the head cheese makers.
"I am really excited about the amount of new wines that I am going to encounter and get to know during my trip, not to mention the fact that I am going to meet Jamie Oliver in person," said Zaleni.
