Now Open: JarBar Jar-To-Table Health Eatery And Online Store In Cape Town
Open: Now you can get delicious healthy meals in a jar, in a store
After launching what was then a very unique health food concept in 2015 – delicious, healthy food options, perfect for lunch, ordered online and delivered to your desk in a handy jar – and subsequently being featured in a host of popular magazines, JarBar has now evolved. The online food-in-jar-concept was so successful that JarBar launched its first actual store on Spin Street in the CBD.
The JarBar shop is now open – you'll be able to find them at 12 Spin Street in the City Centre. Soon you will be able to order fresh, healthy and environmentally-friendly meals for delivery right to your door. In the meanwhile, you can get in touch with them directly to place orders in advance for collection And, you now have the option of either eating there, using crockery or retaining your reusable glass jar (and contributing to a zero waste lifestyle).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Pre-order your jars for the week or month (meal prep done). Jars are made fresh every single day and are delivered by lunch time. The airtight jars stay fresh and are best eaten within 3 days from delivery. There is a R15 deposit per Jar on hand which you can either exchange for your next Jar or get a credit/refund online or in-store. Delivery area is Cape Town City Centre and immediate surrounding areas within a 5km radius.
We’re excited to finally see these bottled soups and salads make their way to the table.
