The world’s best-selling female artist of all time is gracing South Africa’s shores with her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour! She'll be in Cape Town on Tuesday, 26 April 2016, in Durban on Friday, 29 April 2016, and in Johannesburg on Sunday, 1, and Monday, 2 May 2016.

Mariah Carey is a legend, diva and performer extraordinaire. She’s a global superstar with a phenomenal fan base and multiple platinum albums to her name. She’s known for putting on elaborate shows with spectacular sound, so South African supporters should be in for a treat.

The lovely lady sent her fans a sweet message showing her excitement about being back in our country, “Lambily, it’s been too long!! The concerts will be hosted by Live Nation and Big Concerts and should feature many of Mariah’s 18 number one hit singles. Concert attendees can expect old and new favourites like ‘Hero’, ‘Fantasy’, ‘Always Be My Baby’, ‘We Belong Together’ and many more. Revel in the icon’s rich five-octave vocal range, and listen to her lyrics to understand why she’s sold more than 220 million records in her chart-topping career.

Aside from Mariah’s Grammy award-winning musical exploits, the singer-songwriter has also starred in multiple movies and she’s very involved in a number of charity initiatives, including Save the Music, Make-A-Wish and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Essentially, Mariah is a legend and an inspiring, strong woman who has been a pioneer in the music industry for most of her lengthy career. Make sure you get your tickets quickly when they go on sale on Thursday, 17 December 2015, because they’re bound to sell out fast.
