Ever Heard of a Melkbos Poke? Apparently It Goes Well With Craft Gin At This New Beach Restaurant
A laid-back dining experience which matches the chilled ambiance of Melkbosstrand – this is The Melkbos Kitchen
In the space on the Melkbosstrand beachfront previously occupied by Ritzi's comes The Melkbos Kitchen, an eatery with a warm, welcoming and homely feel that opened its doors in August 2017. Although we haven't visited yet – watch this space because soon we'll be trying out a Melkbos Poke Bowl paired with a G&T.
At The Melkbos Kitchen you'll find deli-style cuisine that includes an extensive breakfast menu, build-your-own-burgers, charcuterie boards, poke bowls such as the "Melkbos Poke" and "Pickle Me Poke", sushi and salads. The kids are taken care of with their own dedicated menu.
What's a beachfront dining experience with a drink in hand? Well, Melkbos Kitchen is the only eatery in town where you'll able to get gin & tonic on tap, along with a selection of local gin. Wines by the glass and craft beer are also available.
