Say hello to the new Neighbourgoods Market every Saturday
Fresh produce, handmade jewellery, locally designed clothes and delicious food
The Neighbourgoods Market is back with a brand new outlook. The market is welcoming in a host of micro-chefs, local designers, craft food artisans and more in the name of uplifting small businesses and local restaurants.
RETURNING FAVOURITES AND SOME NEW FACES
BAG TREASURES IN THE DESIGN SECTION
You can also support your local designers from the Neighbourgoods Market's extensive design section. Treat yourself to delicately handmade, upcycled rings made from different coloured Malagasy gemstones from The Amazing Work of AN’SO. Try on a dress or two from the surf-inspired store Float Apparel or treat yourself to a Kichana wrap from Rwanda-based brand Mille Collines.
LOOK OUT FOR YOUR FAVOURITE RESTAURANTS
The Pot Luck Club's head chef Jason Kosmas will be there every Saturday serving up a delicious lunch menu that's all about sharing. Pop in and taste a range of dishes that covers salty, sour, sweet, bitter and umami. For a salty bite, tuck into The Pot Luck Club’s peri peri chicken with a charred pepper and kale salad. If you're looking for something sour, try the line fish sashimi with ponzu dressing, daikon radish and bonito flakes.
MAKE IT YOUR NEXT WEEKEND ACTIVITY
It's hard to resist delicious food, handmade jewellery and locally designed clothes. Add a sunny day into the mix and it's a match made in heaven. Luckily for us, the Neighbourgoods Market is open every Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
