And while Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek definitely deserve the credit, one has to know that South Africa's wine province has more to offer.This beautiful and unspoilt wine region has, so far, maganed to escape from mass tourism. That doesn't mean, though, that the valley isn't worth visiting. In contrary.
Here one finds many fine wine cellars, cheese and olive farms with a rich history, and some of them even award winning.
Willow Creek for instance. The 18th century farm, traditionally a wine estate, won a coveted Grand Mention Diploma at the Leone d'Oro dei Mastri Oleari olive oil awards in Perugia, Italy. With this the estate in the Nuy Valley put South African olive oil on the map.
