Nobu at the One&Only
Get Nobu’s famous New Style Sashimi, delicious grilled tenderloin, or sticky and sweet miso eggplant delivered to your door
The internationally renowned Japanese-fusion restaurant Nobu is delivering a home dining experience that is nothing short of amazing. It's where classic Japanese dishes meet authentic Peruvian flavours - all in the comfort of your home.
The Nobu team and head chef Harold Hurtada have been hard at work creating an at-home menu that incorporates all the classic flavours. You can expect everything from their delicious Nobu bites and Nobu tacos to their crowd favourite Bento Boxes and New-Style Sashimi.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE
You can pick and choose your favourite dishes from Nobu’s extensive takeaway menu. Start your meal off with a Nobu Bite and work your way down through Nobu Tacos, soups, salads and even Nobu’s signature New Style Sashimi. Of course you can also indulge in one of their popular Bento Boxes with the Classic Bento Box, the Nobu Bento Box and the Matsuhisa Bento Box.
The Nobu team personally delivers each meal to your doorstep in a little black box topped with a small window, giving you a peek at what’s in store. Your delivery is kitted out with a set of chopsticks, a Nobu at Home menu and a miniature Charlotte Rhys hand sanitizer.
LET'S GET SERIOUS. HOW IS THE FOOD?
Picking what you’d like from such an extensive menu is easier said than done. For starters try out Nobu’s delicious miso soup with tofu or the shiitake mushroom salad with a spicy lemon dressing. If you’d like to try more than one main order in the grilled beef tenderloin paired with a spicy anticucho sauce as well as Nobu's delicious eggplant miso as a side dish. It's a whole eggplant cut in half, then grilled with Nobu's iconic sticky, savoury-sweet miso sauce.
Each meal comes with its own pairing sauce. For those who like a bit of heat, the beef anticucho miso sauce drizzled over your tenderloin steak is a match made in heaven. The tenderloin is also garnished with ginger, peeled baby tomato and a slice of apricot. It may sound like a strange pairing but the fruity apricot with the spicy ginger gives the steak an interesting umami kick. The thick and sticky nasu miso sauce pairs deliciously with the grilled eggplant, but also brings out the best in the shiitake mushrooms.
MIX AND MATCH AS MUCH AS YOU’D LIKE
Everything is delicious with everything, so don’t be afraid to mix and match. If you want to get the full experience and taste all the flavours in one bite, line the nasu miso, anticucho miso and even the lemon dressing up ready for dipping. This way no matter what you have in between your chopsticks you can easily dip it into one or all of the Nobu sauces.
THEY DELIVER FAR AND WIDE
Nobu delivers within a 24km radius from the restaurant, which reaches as far as Belville, Melkbosstrand and Hout Bay. You are free to order whatever you like and as much as you like from their extensive takeaway menu online via oneandonlyresorts.com.
