Hope@PaulCluver Summer Festival
Support a very worthy cause as you enjoy a spectacular concert and good company in a majestic forest theatre in the Elgin Valley
After the success of the 2016-2017 season, The Thembalitsha Foundation and Paul Cluver Wines will, once again, team up to bring you a selection of musical events this summer.
After witnessing the work of The Thembalitsha Foundation in Elgin in aid of the eradication of poverty, Paul Cluver Wines decided to collaborate with the foundation. The annual summer concerts is a chance for people to enjoy great music while donating to a worthy cause. This year, the programme features performances by renowned South African artists who know how to entertain a crowd. And as always, all proceeds will be donated to the Thembalitsha Foundation.
The annual event starts on Saturday, 9 December 2017 and runs up until Saturday, 24 February 2018. Expect more than just music, as you will experience a sense of family and fun at the Hope@PaulCluver Summer Festival which returns to the Grabouw-based amphitheatre.
A unique and magical venue, the Paul Cluver outdoor amphitheatre – a mere 45-minute drive from Cape Town – offers patrons the opportunity to enjoy an evening under the stars surrounded by a forest of towering eucalyptus trees; a feature which provides the natural acoustics for this open-air venue.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, cushions and picnic baskets, but please note that alcohol is not allowed to be brought onto the property. Instead a selection of Paul Cluver wine, Cluver & Jack cider and Triggerfish craft beer will be for sale at the event, as well as a selection of delicious food. Keep in mind that even though it’s summer, the nights can get nippy, so pack something warm to wear too!
