MAKE LIPSTICK FOR GALENTINE’S DAY

Did you know you can make your own lipstick? Join Lipped for a workshop where you learn how to create your own perfect shade with your gals, mom or kids. All equipment and materials are provided. Plus, you can make it a girls night in with an at-home workshop brought right to you.

GET A FREE GLASS OF WINE WITH PIZZA

Celebrating love doesn’t have to come with a big budget. And it’s a good thing that Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year. Michael's Kitchen and Bar has a special every Wednesday where you can get a free glass of wine with all pizzas. Sit outside or cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy a pulled pork or mexican mince pizza.

CREATE A GIFT FOR EACH OTHER

The Pottery in Camps Bay is hosting a special dinner and paint session. You can enjoy a romantic beachside dinner of any two meals (from fig, camembert and rocket pizza to soup of the day), while listening to live music and painting one of the Valentine’s-themed pottery items (like a mug or plate).

JOIN A SINGLES MINGLE

Looking for love in the city can be tough, especially if dating apps aren’t for you. Here’s an opportunity to meet someone the old fashioned way. La Parada Constantia is hosting a “Just a Pair of Lovebirds” party, where you get to chat and connect. The theme for this matchmaking event is Hollywood so get dressed up. Plus, you get a complimentary drink.

WATCH A SOIREE 

For the couples wanting to have a night of romance, The Masque Theatre will be entertaining with a musical titled A Lifetime of Love. This 16-and-over event will be an intimate performance of sing-a-longs, love ballads and funky beats. There's also a ticket special for couples.

GO ON A STREET ART TOUR

Take the kids, your friends or significant other to a street art tour in the Company’s Garden (it's free). The International Public Art Festival will have live murals created by local and international artists, collaborative installations, food trucks and workshops for all ages. There’ll also be guided and self-guided street art tours.

DO A SUNSET PICNIC IN AN URBAN PARK

Pack a picnic and enjoy a romantic evening outdoors where you can watch the sunset for free. This urban park has grassy lawns for games, sports, and there’s water features (which makes for a nice stroll). Furry friends can join too. There’s also a café for those wanting to buy food. ENJOY A FAMILY NIGHT OUT 

Playalot is hosting a 3-course dinner (and there’s free babysitters for the kids). The dinner includes a Zevenwacht welcome drink, potato & pastrami roses, Tuscan chicken & rice, and crème caramel for dessert. Kids get chicken strips & chips and a 200ml juice box (and they can play for free).

GO DANCING

Get ready to swoon, mingle, and tap your feet at "Love in Times of Madness". A Touch of Madness in Observatory is hosting a mushy-gushy night with live performances by The Alvin Dyers Trio. It’s a great night for celebrating love, whether you’re doing a date night or want to dance to the music with friends.

NAUGHTY GIFT IDEA?
