THROW AN AXE AT YOUR EX 

If axes are not your weapons of choice, try throwing knives or ninja stars. Or, embrace your inner Katniss and learn to shoot a crossbow.

TRY THE POP-UP WEAPON-THROWING EVENTS 

Weapons on Wheels also hosts pop-up replica events of the packages they offer at indoor and outdoor venues around Cape Town. Simply make a booking online and show up. They bring the weapons and targets. The pop up events are convenient because you can come alone or with a whole squad.

Like the Axe-Throwing Braai once-a-month event: “Where we throw axes like Vikings,” says Monique Nell. The venue for this is Muizenberg, but there are other locations coming up.

WoW hosts groups from 1 to 100, so one of their events is a nice activity for special birthdays and end-of-year functions. WoW brings the weapons, targets and training to the party, plus they can customise your event and help you choose a venue that works for weapon throwing. THROW DOWN SAFELY

Bachelor and bachelorette parties and celebrations will love WoW. The organisers know how raucous they can sometimes get, and good thing the WoW team are as serious about safety as they are about having fun. Each session starts with a group safety and training induction and resident WoWsters (weapons masters) are on hand throughout to offer tips and keep everyone safe and having a good time.
