WHERE TO BUY WEDDING DRESSES IN CAPE TOWN
Crystals and Crème
The mission at this Northern Suburbs bridal boutique is to make ‘every bride feel like a princess’. They offer imported wedding dresses at affordable prices, which range in cost from R3500 to R7500. Bridal dresses in cream, ivory and white have beautiful names, such as Cherry Blossom, White Orchid and Iris. The feel is classic and traditional with modern lines and tailoring – no poofy marshmallow dresses here; instead, think of mermaid skirts, layered lace wedding dresses (their speciality) and dainty decal. The fittings cost R200 for an hour, and within this time frame, brides-to-be will be able to try on 20 dresses. They advise the betrothed to bring bridal accessories with, as trying on your dream dress wearing flip flops won’t complete the effect – unless of course you’re planning a beach wedding.
