Last updated: 16 November 2022
End every month with fitness fun and wine at Cape Point Vineyards. Join their Wine & Climb event, an invigorating 4.5km hike that happens every last Sunday of the month, and stop to sample a glass of wine or two (or three) at their wine-tasting stations along the way.

EXPLORE THIS UNIQUE WINE FARM
Cape Point Vineyards is a world-class winery that’s best known for its sweeping view of Noordhoek Beach, wine tasting, picnics, its Winery Restaurant with an elite A La Carte menu and a well-renowned Sauvignon Blanc, which is recognized for its rich minerality, structure, and tone.

HIKE WITH SOME WINE
The hike starts at 9.30am at the Winery Restaurant. It passes through some beautiful olive groves, and then enters the vineyards. Here’s where you get to stop by each wine-tasting station and learn about the complexities and flavours of the wines up for tasting. The view is hard to miss, but don’t forget to take it in.

TAKE YOUR FAMILY ON A HIKE
Kids can join Wine & Climb, too. Under 18’s can join the child-friendly hiking route and be part of the fun for free, without the wine-tasting privileges. This is a great way to spend time with your loved ones while getting exercise and enjoying great wine – it’s a 3-in-1 deal.
