Does your child have a penchant for the theatrical and dramatic – let them gain a skill from it at a kids acting workshop in Gardens on Saturday 22 June 2019.
WHAT IS IT
Lights Camera Action, a modelling and acting coaching company, is hosting an all-day workshop for kids aged 5–14 years during the school holidays. The workshop is designed to develop the confidence and endurance of child actors’ and models (and aspiring ones) while delivering a performance in front of a camera during an audition.
WHAT WILL THEY LEARN
The course, created and taught by on-camera coach and casting director Channa Geldenhuys, will teach kids the absolute must-know tips and skills for working in the industry – while still having fun. Channa will teach the kids various on-camera casting techniques, like natural transitions using body language, keeping clients engaged and more to develop a brand new on-camera attitude.
COURSE FEES FOR THE KIDS ON-CAMERA ACTING WORKSHOP
For children aged 10–14 it costs R350 per child and the workshop is from 9am to 11:30am. Kids aged 6–9 pay R300 per child and take part from 12pm to 2pm. Kids aged 2–5 pay R250 per child and take part from 2:30pm to 4pm.
Seats are limited and booking is essential. Book a spot in this innovative kids on-camera acting workshop by contacting Channa Geldenhuys directly on +27 (0)82 948 3533 or channa@lights-camera-action.co.za
