Submit your event to the editorial and partnerships teams
Last updated: Thursday, 20 June 2024
Thousands of locals and tourists visit our events section weekly for a reliable smorgasbord of things to do throughout Cape Town and the Western Cape. Because they trust us to bring out the smallest and the most unique events in the biggest way and the biggest events in the most unique way.
Events Programme works for small, medium and big events. From festivals to theatre shows like Maynardville Open-Air Festival. Image: Maynardville Open-Air Festival
We give free editorial coverage to the smallest events, businesses that can not afford to join our Events marketing Programme. Your event should be small, and unique in a way that diversifies the industry. To have your event considered email the editorial team at discover@capetownmagazine.com and content@capetownmagazine.com.
NOTE: We need your submission three to four weeks in advance. The team will connect with you should they want to include your event. Tell us: What makes it unique; ticket price; date, location, and time; social channels; the price; and quality hi-res images/video.

Our Events Marketing Programme is not advertising; it’s smart and effective marketing that’s worked for over 10 years for partners from as small as the Chinese Food Fair to as big as the internationally-renowned Investec Cape Town Art Fair.
It ensures you reach outside your in-crowd; increase your reach; and/or works on your strategic goals to increase revenue, build better sponsor delivery, get you more pre-sales earlier or earlier arrivals.
We always bring our expertise, build on success cases, and give you between 4-8 times what you pay. And it works for small, medium and big events, and it’s our commitment to growing the events industry.
