Banyana Banyana will play their second high-profile friendly in five days when they take on Sweden, ranked 9th in the world, in the Albertina Sisulu Centenary Challenge. Like the previous friendly, the match will take place at the Cape Town Stadium and forms part of the team's preparation for the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup. And, free tickets are once again available.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE GAME?
Against the Netherlands, last Saturday, Banyana showed grit and fight with a gutsy performance. They still lost the match 2–1 though, and are looking to bounce back against the Swedes. This won't be easy: Sweden is ranked lower than the Netherlands, but are still a top 10 side who always do well at tournaments. Our women will be putting in another hard shift and will, hopefully, have improved on their weaknesses from the previous match.
HOW CAN I GET FREE TICKETS?
Tickets are available from Computicket, but are limited to 10 per person and can only be collected from Computicket outlets (no online bookings). Make your way to any Checkers or Shoprite to get them.
