The Autumn Beer Festival is going down on Saturday, 9 June 2018 at A Touch of Madness in Observatory. It’s an awesome way to celebrate and embrace the changing of the season.
The curated beer menu for the Autumn Festival is a celebrates this seasons beers. Darker, heavier beers become more appealing this time of year and so A Touch of Madness have carefully selected 12 local craft beers and also some speciality beers only made at this time of year to ensure you get the most out of your tasting experience.
Autumn is the season of the wet-hopped beer and for those of you who don’t know, beer is mainly made with dried hops (hops are the flowers of the hop plant with which beer is made). The colder season sees the brewing of beers with freshly picked hops that still have their robust resin-like flavour, which is what makes them different from their dry-hopped counterparts. Never tried wet-hopped beer? All the more reason to spend your day testing and tasting a great selection of darker brews.

THE ENTERTAINMENT
Heard of beer pong? Get ready for beer bingo. A Touch of Madness have lined up some awesome activities for you to take part in throughout the day while you sip on some new brews. Each card will have a random selection of the beers to try and if you try four in a row you can put your hand in the bingo hat and maybe win a prize.
The vibey Selective Hearing DJ crew will be providing the tunes at the festival. A variety of the resident DJs will hit the decks to bring you upbeat neo soul and hip hop sounds. Also, no festival would be complete without mouth-watering food to keep you going throughout the day. A Touch of Madness will have their whole menu on offer for the duration of the festival. Tuck into one of their hearty burgers, a cheesy plate of nachos or some sticky chicken wings.
