Woodstock Brewery is hosting an Irish jol with specialty Irish craft beer, live music and food like burgers and platters all weekend. Dating back to 1852, Forester’s Arms in Newlands is one of the oldest and most popular pubs in Cape Town. And on St Patties Day they will be playing toe-tapping traditional and modern Irish tunes all weekend. While you’re there grab a Guinness, some great food, and bring your Irish cheer. There will also be draught specials, and prize giveaways throughout the weekend.
