La Tête on Bree Street

Divine upmarket restaurant in the Mother City...

The city centre is never short of a new restaurant or two opening around every busy corner. Much to our delight, La Tête popped out of the blue and made us realise that we had been craving this blissful addition to Bree Street all along and didn't even know it! This beautiful French-inspired establishment lies in the heart the Mother City, bringing some divine dishes for foodies to enjoy!

Thanks to the return of Chef Giles Edwards from London after 10 years, the upscale eatery became a much-needed breath of fresh air in the scorching heat of December 2016. We love that  La Tête subscribes to a farm-to-fork principle guaranteeing customers fresh produce at all times. Your palate will delight in the daring ingredients served in every dish.

With a menu that changes daily, you’re never too sure what meal you will treat yourself to, however you can expect dishes such as mussels with bacon and cider; chard and anchovy; roast shallots, mint and pork terrine;ox heart with chips and horseradish; and beef and kidney pudding. It comes as no surprise that the sophisticated eatery also serves up some delectable desserts. There’s a perfectly balanced salted chocolate caramel tart and a truly divine poached guava and chocolate pot, just to give you an idea of the decadence.

We love the farm-to-fork approach!
Tip: Expect the use of unfamiliar ingredients
Note: The menu changes daily and is entirely dependent on the availability of ingredients as per seasons.

Opening Times: Tuesday - Friday: 12pm - 11pm; Saturday: 6pm - 11pm
