Comedy and Brunch at NOMAD Bistro and Bar

On Saturday, 19 August 2017, head down to NOMAD Bistro and Bar for an afternoon of brunching and laughing along with some up-and-coming comedians hailing from the Mother City. There will be another edition of Comedy and Brunch on Saturday, 26 August 2017, but the comedians on the line-up will be different.

NOMAD Bistro and Bar, located on Waterkant Street in Cape Town’s CBD, is the fusion restaurant we have all been waiting for. They use harmonious flavours to delight your palate every time you visit. Just in case you don’t already know, they also do craft beer popsicles, which puts them on just about everyone's hit list in summertime. Their menu also features classics like pork belly and various burgers – If they can make a beer-popsicle, imagine what other delights they are capable of whipping up?

The Comedy and Brunch event sees five local comedians take the stage while you tuck into a deliciously fresh and flavourful brunch. For the August 19 edition, the comedians on the bill are Comedy Central’s very own Eureka Nkese, Jaryd Pillay, Aqeeb Brown, Chantal Jax Venter and Mira. At past editions, the likes of Conrad Koch and Schalk Bezuidenhout have performed for the crowd, and left them all in tears (of laughter, of course). This event will be hosted by Kolping Mbumba, and he cannot wait to introduce the new talent to comedy loving capetonians.

All of the comedians on the line-up are aspiring professionals, so come down and show them some love . It really is the funniest and tastiest event in Cape Town  this weekend!
