“Believe it! Because it’s true.” That’s right, Corne and Twakkie are back with The Most Amazing Show! But hurry because their re-appearance will be brief and you don’t want to miss the opportunity to see “like the most flippin funny show in South Africa” again (it’s been seven years since Corne and Twakkie last charmed us).
So listen up folks, The Most Amazing Show is happening at the Glencairn Hotel on Saturday, 16 and Sunday, 17 December, and these two – and their antics – promises to have you in stitches from 7pm each night.
The hilarious Corne (Louw Venter) and Twakkie (Rob van Vuuren) started The Most Amazing Show as a touring stage production, but it soon became so popular that it was turned into a TV show, which enjoyed a cult following.
From “flippin funny” to outright ridiculous, the duo came to be loved (and laughed at) for pulling pranks on people, or each other, with hilarious and unexpected outcomes. The popularity of the show got both Corne and Twakkie many invites to events, including MC jobs at gigs like Rocking the Daisies, Oppikoppi and the MK Awards.
So look forward to an evening that features cycling shorts, Hawaiian-print shirts, wacky moustaches and lots of funny. So funny you may laugh your pants – or your cycling shorts – off, maybe quite literally!
