The 31st Annual Loerie Awards

The most Prestigious show in the Southern Hemisphere

To get ahead in advertising, you have to be an egomaniac, with an ego so humongous that there isn't room for any others...an ego so out of hand that it wins every ego clash hands down.

Give it a sports car, give it a busty girlfriend, give it a Puerto Rican pool boy, give it a penthouse, and give it a Loerie - because there's only one way to the top. Feed your ego!

The Loerie Awards have been feeding egos since 1978 and since then have expanded to encompass every area of brand communication including radio and print advertising, design, architecture, direct marketing, video, live events, and digital media.

The Loerie Awards Festival Weekend is the most anticipated event on the industry calendar, and with good reason.

This year the Festival Weekend will run from Thursday 24 September to Sunday 27 September - taking full advantage of the public holiday on the 24th.

As Thursday September
24 is a public holiday, this will be a great opportunity to get a head start. The Battle of the Bands and the legendary Chairman’s Party will be on Thursday evening, as well as a welcome shindig thrown by the mayor of Cape Town, for Very Important Ego (VIE) guests.

After-parties on Friday
and Saturday will be in Long Street and include a fantastic line-up of DJs till the sun rises. And for the indomitable, the festivity continues during the day along the Camps Bay beachfront, where the famous Velocity Party will lead the pack.

The Awards Ceremonies will be on the Friday and Saturday evening this year.

The Loerie Festival will take to the streets of Cape Town City as well as Camps Bay, so be sure not to miss the glamour of it all.

The Loerie Awards Ceremony will take place at the Good Hope Centre in Cape Town.
