Do a cheeky yoga session while helping out some worthy causes when Michelle Banwell, the organiser of Downward Dog for Dogs, hosts the next edition of the series on Saturday, 16 September 2017 at Bootlegger Coffee Company in Century City.
The yoga session will accommodate all levels of skill and fitness; the aim is to have fun and give some love to a deserving charities. You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat, a towel and water. Michelle Jeanne Yoga, the event organisers and yoga-extraordinaire, does have some yoga mats to rent, but they go quickly, so try to bring your own if you can. The class will start at 10am, but plan to arrive by 9:30am so you have time to fill out an indemnity form!
All the proceeds from this latest edition of the Downward Dog for Dogs series will go to the Lucky Lucy Foundation and the Change for the Better Foundation. Both of these charities focus their efforts on improving the lives of furbabies in the area. Representative from the shelters will be in attendance, and they’re bringing some adorable charges with them! Yoga and puppy cuddles – it doesn’t get better than that!
What else is on offer? Good question; yoga and puppies aren’t the only things that will be lighting up your Saturday morning. The breakfast menu at Bootleggers is sensational and you are more than welcome to cuddle some puppies. You can also help the cause by buying a ticket to the awesome raffle. Buy a raffle ticket and sit down for some brunch - no yoga necessary! The raffle will feature awesome prizes from the event's many sponsors. Tickets to the raffle will cost R20 and you could bag yourself some sensational prizes!
ENTRANCE TO THE 2017 REBOOT EDITION OF DOWNWARD DOG FOR DOGS
