The Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel is home to some of the best eateries in Cape Town. The venue also has a range of unmissable culinary events all-year-round – making the Christmas Lunch at the Oasis Bistro one of the many options on offer. Gather your family and friends to sit down for an enjoyable buffet lunch at the Oasis Bistro.

The menu includes a selection of gourmet meals to tuck into. Enjoy a roast leg of lamb served with a delicious butternut bake, along with some cheddar cheese, red onion and cranberries. For dessert you can feast on some steamed cranberry and almond pudding decked with a serving of creamy custard. Another option would be a selection of confectioneries as desserts. Note this is only a small portion of what the buffet menu has to offer; you’ll most definitely be spoilt for choice!

There will also be a local cheese buffet with home-made preserves. After the meal tea and coffee will be served with mince pies and ginger biscuits. It looks like the New Year’s resolution to lose weight will be on top of the bucket list again.
