There are numerous places to watch the Rugby World Cup in our amazing city, many of which are offering incredible food and drink specials and other activities for the duration of the tournament. One of these haunts is the popular HQ restaurant, known for its tender steaks, crispy chips and fresh salad.
TOP-NOTCH TELEVISIONS AT HQ SO YOU DON’T MISS A MINUTE OF THE MATCH
Also known as Headquarters, this city centre steakhouse will be showing all the South African matches live and with sound on three HD television screens strategically placed around the cosy venue. The other games will be played on mute during the tournament. Check out some of these highlights from past world cups to whet your appetite for the upcoming sports extravaganza.
FABULOUS HQ BEER AND BURGER SPECIALS
HQ will ensure that you are well sustained during the high-intensity rugby matches with a beer and burger special. You can sink your teeth into a succulent chorizo salsa beef burger with chips and then wash it all down with an ice-cold Castle Lite pint for only R90p/p. The menu also caters for vegetarians with a range of mushroom-based options that will tantalise your taste buds and satisfy the deepest hunger.
If you’re not hungry and would rather share a few drinks with your mates while you support your favourite team, then you can grab a 3 litre Castle Lite tower (that’s 5 draughts) and get a bucket of four Flying Fish flavoured beers for free.
BOOKINGS FOR HQ RESTAURANT’S RUGBY WORLD CUP SPECIALS
Make the most of the hype surrounding the tournament by booking a table at HQ by calling +27 (0)21 424 6373 or emailing info@hqrestaurant.co.za. Remember to book early as space is limited.
