KAMERS Pop-Up Market in Hermanus

This successful home décor and local design phenomenon heads to the Overberg region for a spring fling

Hot off the heels of the successful Kamers Pop-Up in Cape Town, the creative design showcase is back! This time, the organisers have brought the popular event to the whale-watching town of Hermanus for the first time. #Kamers2015 will get underway at Curro Private School from Thursday, 24 to Sunday, 27 September 2015.

And if you’re a design expo newbie or a seasoned showcase attendee, the affair has a plethora of interesting stalls featuring over 70 exhibitors. Guests can have a browse at cutting edge local design, bridal products, baby- related goods, natural health and beauty offerings all made in our lovely country!

Not only that, the market has entertainment for all ages making it a great family day out! Chill out and be soothed by the sounds of local artists like  singer – songwriter  Farryl Purkiss, the haunting voice of Cape Town’s very own Lucy Kruger and vinyl aficionados Roastin’ Records (who will play a host of tunesand some of their merch will be up for grabs) on  the bill for the duration of the event.

If a sip ‘n swirl session with some delicious reds and whites sounds like the best way to de-stress, then be sure to get a taste of the upcoming food and vino pairings with renowned brand Creation Wines all the way from Hemel en Aarde. Eager for some gourmet nosh? Attendees can also delight in the magnificent dishes created by the The Eatery and kykNET chef, Nic Van Wyk.

Parents, worried about your little ones? Don’t even stress! Your tyke can play on the jumping castles, try out the playgrounds and have a whale of a time at the event. And after all that fun, there are plenty of food stalls to grab a hearty bite to eat and simply enjoy the festival.
