Noddy and Enid Blyton are two of the most famous names in children's literature. The legendary character and his toy friends are coming to Cape Town to keep your little ones entertained, and take them on a journey through Toyland. From Monday, 27 June to Saturday, 9 July 2016, Noddy and friends will be waiting for you at the Artscape Theatre Foyer Well.
This famous children’s story is adapted for the stage by David Woods, and it’s up to the audience to decide whether Noddy is a toy or not. Everybody knows that Toyland is only for toys, so will Noddy be allowed to stay? Check it out and see!
Noddy is a name that needs no introduction nor explanation; but for those who don't know stories, here's a small synopsis: Noddy is a little wooden toy who runs away to live in Toyland. He is famous for his car (which he gets in the second book) in which he loves driving his friends around. These friends include Big Ears, Mr. Plod and Tessie Bear.
There will be pre-show activities to get your little ones amped and excited, like face painting, colouring in, puzzles, play tents and bike riding. This show is tailored especially for your kiddies’ enjoyment, and also includes an amount of audience interaction.
TICKETS FOR THE 2016 NODDY SHOW AT THE ARTSCAPE THEATRE FOYER WELL
Tickets are available from Computicket.com and cost between R60p/p and R80p/p. The show lasts approximately one hour, and most shows start at 10:30am and 12:30pm. For any ticketing info, please visit Computicket’s website.
