You can make the world a better place just by changing your morning cup of coffee.
By choosing Fairtrade products you’ll be helping small-scale farmers and workers get fairer deals and better working conditions. You can start by figuring out how fair your purchases are to them (and the earth), and you also stand a chance to win prizes (like a dreamy weekend away in Stellenbosch) by taking this 2-minute #BeFairRightNow quiz.
Doing the quiz means you’re entered to win a scenic weekend away in the Cape Winelands. Image: Fairtrade
Fairtrade is about making sure that all producers have sustainable livelihoods, can reach their full potential, and have control over their future.
By making trade fairer for farmers and workers in developing countries which ensures better prices, fair working conditions and environmentally sustainable farming practices.
Every time you choose Fairtrade products, you’re contributing to this mission.
Fairtrade’s #BeFairRightNow quiz is more than an awareness challenge, it’s a chance to learn about the people behind the everyday products you love and find out how you can make a difference using your daily cup of tea or glass of wine.
When you choose Fairtrade products, you choose sustainability and a more fair trade. Image: Fairtrade
When you take the quiz, you’ll be entered into the grand prize to win a 2-night stay at the Protea Hotel in Stellenbosch, including an exclusive Vergelegen wine cellar tour and tasting, vouchers for Fairtrade-certified products, and flights (from Port Elizabeth, Durban, or Johannesburg).
Leading up to the grand prize, four winners will also receive a voucher for Fairtrade-certified products (vouchers for coffee and tea that you can drink with a clear conscience).
Learn how you can change the harsh realities of rural farmers and workers with Fairtrade’s quiz.
